Trachea is the windpipe and is made of cartilage. A cow trachea is about 12-14" in length before cooking. We have two sizes, 10”-11” and 5”-6”. It is one of those chews that is gross looking to us but heavenly to dogs. Our trachea are slow roasted to crackling crunchiness, which drives dogs to distraction. You can thank Great Dog in Minnesota. The hollow shape can be filled with peanut butter or with yogurt and frozen to give it an extra punch. The ribbed texture and crunchiness help to naturally clean their teeth.
Beef is a complete source of amino acids, which help support your dog’s muscles, brain, skin, and coat.
Please provide plenty of fresh water when giving any chew or treat. Because this is a natural treat, its sizing, color and appearance may vary—this is normal. You may also notice a natural scent and oil while your dog chews; this natural oil may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces. To prevent injury and choking hazard, please watch your pet while they enjoy this treat and be sure to choose the appropriate size chew. If this product splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet’s safety.
ALWAYS SUPERVISE FEEDING: Small pieces can become a choking hazard. Feed pieces appropriate for your dog’s size, age, health state and eating behavior.
